		<description>Just my personal note, myself at over 50 (and getting older..lol), and having taught in Jerusalem for several years (both philosophy and theology), I try to simplify my words and thoughts. But I hold both the D. Phil. and Th.D. The East and mid-east is very different than the western mind set. Not much Latinism's there.</description>

		<description>Troy, Richard Bauckham is correct in my opinion. This would almost be an absolute here!  And can we say the Jewish perception of God was certainly one of fear and great awe, and yes terror..but always can we say also one of Transcendence, and yet back to man in God's immanent love?</description>

Do you think that there is a linear, 'orthodox' monotheism running through the entire OT (with Chaldean-influenced heterodoxies branching off to the side), or is the entirety of the OT a dialectical move from henotheism to the second temple (or maybe this is a false dilemma)?</description>
